Combined Imagery – Intentions

My first intentions are to create some photomontages in the style of Andreas Lie but with a more urban feel to them. Instead of using shots of animals and natural landscapes I will be using studio portraits and cityscapes/urban landscapes.

For the urban landscape images i will be using an “Urban Housing” shoot I have done of some flats in my local area, they are all dramatic black and white images with a lot of different shades and contrast.

For the studio portraiture I am going to use a shoot of my model Angus. I was considering using portraits that have coloured gels on the model and background however i don’t think this would give my desired effect. So instead I will be using simple portraits on an over-exposed white background.

For my final outcome i plan on having he silhouette of my model on a white background, but his silhouette being a black and white urban landscape.
